Solopress.com our newest customer hired Data Artistry to develop a bespoke solution in FileMaker Pro11. This solution collects web orders from their pre-existing web site via XML services, uses PHP API to collect customer payments and record them back to FileMaker. Also utilises a postcode lookup service to assist with data accuracy when processing orders.

The Job Management System has all of the features required to run the factory, from CRM, Job records to plan, print, finish and deliver the jobs.

The delivery and factory managers use iPads to review the status of jobs and the drivers use iPhones to collect signatures and report delivery times back to the live system.

Their FileMaker system also links to other third party software, sending and receiving data from the accounts department, through to route planning software and courier companies.

In this particular case, they are using Direct Route. This is a flexible vehicle routing system that is helping businesses such as Solopress reduce the time it takes to plan loads as well as reducing transport costs through reduced mileage and less time on the road. SmallBiz Admin has been updated and improved. The latest version of SmallBiz Admin is now available on our website. We listened to the feedback that we were getting, so what can it do for your business? SmallBiz Admin covers essential tasks for running your business, from marketing through to invoicing. It will tell you payments outstanding just as Sage will, but it will also keep track of your correspondence and is much easier to navigate and we like to think presents client facing material (quotes, invoices etc) in a much nicer format.
